Unfortunately my heart rate monitor was not acting correctly but I will update this next time I do this but I will say for sure my heart rate was off the chart! Doing this workout with Core 2 and Cold Start is quite the workout for a day. At least both of those times we didn’t have any equipment to use, so it wasn’t so bad. This time however, I had the 20 pound sandbag which made this brutal. It’s a fairly simple move, you’re basically sitting down with the sandbag over your shoulder or a weight at your chest. Of course the 22 Minute Hard Corps workouts are shorter, at least 8 minutes shorter than most workouts in P90X3, Max:30 and Hammer & Chisel. Therefore, the total calories burned will inevitably be less than the other programs, however, normalized calorie burn that takes into account workout length is impressive for 22 Minute Hard Corps at 12.73 cal/min.
