22 Minute Hard Corps Workout is a shorter and intermediate level program for you

What makes 22 Minute Hard Corps effective? This workout is effective because you have eight short but intense workouts and you exercise six days per week. The upcoming 22 Minute Hard Corps – available March 1 – centers on workouts that are less than half as long as his P90X workouts, but that promise to be just as intense. The workouts blend cardio plus resistance training so your body doesn’t adapt.

The  22 Minute Hard Corps program was pending release at the time of our research, so any information you’ll read here is based on the program’s short promo video, as well as our experience with other Beachbody programs (more about this shortly).

Closely related to interval training, circuit training generally involves quickly moving from one exercise station to another (in a traditional gym format), which often involves both cardiovascular exercise and weight training. 22 minutes from start to finish, which is just the right amount of time when you are in a rush to get a good workout in. Definitely reduces excuses not to do it! All exercises follow a regular cadence, which ensure that you are pushing yourself to complete them in a timely manner. I felt super challenged during some of the exercises to keep up with the rhythm. No slacking off that way!

At least both of those times we didn’t have any equipment to use, so it wasn’t so bad. This time however, I had the 20 pound sandbag which made this brutal. It’s a fairly simple move, you’re basically sitting down with the sandbag over your shoulder or a weight at your chest. This allows them to ensure that they are delivering a fitness program that produces the results that people are looking for.

I’ve never seen results this quickly with any workout program, ever. And I’ve done MANY, and seen great results from many! My original 50 pound weight loss journey started with Tony Horton and P90X and I’ve been happy to continue that journey with Tony Horton, as well, with 22 Minute Hard Corps!22-Minute-Hard-Corps-Workout

Of course the 22 Minute Hard Corps workouts are shorter, at least 8 minutes shorter than most workouts in P90X3, Max:30 and Hammer & Chisel. When I weighed over 200 pounds any kind of jumping or impact was uncomfortable because everything bounced around!  So I would have definitely modified to take out the impact.  Just like I am doing now, at a normal weight. Plus, if you buy 22 Minute Hard Corps from a coach like us, you receive an additional workout – Battle Buddy.

My initial thoughts about 22 Hard Corps were not so good. I loved that they were brief workouts, but I am not the biggest fan of Tony Horton. He is a bit of a cheeseball for my taste. In the promos, Tony is pretending to be a drill sergeant while Vets wear camo fatigues with military backdrops. The workout also includes a dedicated modifier that demonstrates moves at a lower intensity and adapts exercises for those with limited access to equipment.
